You also agree to the terms outlined in Kani Travel's Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of third-party travel service providers, including airlines, tour operators, cruise lines, hotels, and car rental companies. These third-party conditions are provided during the booking process via direct links.
It is the user’s responsibility to read and accept these Terms and Conditions before making any travel arrangements through the Kani Travel website or directly with our consultants. Use of this site for fraudulent or speculative reservations is strictly prohibited.
Kani Travel assumes no liability for missed or cancelled flights, schedule changes, or missed connections due to airline operations.
21. Authorization and Payment
By completing a transaction with Kani Travel, you authorize us to process your reservation with the relevant supplier. Charges may appear directly from the supplier and/or from Kani Travel.
22. Service Fees
Kani Travel reserves the right to charge professional fees for bookings, changes, or cancellations. These fees are non-refundable and subject to GST.
Change/Correction Fees (Per Person/Transaction)
Cancellation Fees (Per Person)
23. Currency
All prices displayed are in Canadian Dollars (CAD), unless otherwise noted. Supplier rates quoted in other currencies are converted using current exchange rates at time of quoting. Final payment amounts may vary based on exchange rates applied by suppliers or credit card companies. Kani Travel is not responsible for currency fluctuations.
Some suppliers may require a credit card or cash deposit at destination for incidental expenses. These local charges are separate from your booking payment and are the responsibility of the traveller.
24. Airport Check-in & Flight Reconfirmation
Travellers are advised to arrive at the airport a minimum of three (3) hours prior to departure. Check-in may close up to one (1) hour before flight time. Late arrivals may result in denied boarding, with no refund entitlement.
Flight schedules, aircraft changes, gate assignments, and itinerary adjustments are entirely the responsibility of the airline. It is the traveller’s responsibility to reconfirm flight times and details 12–24 hours prior to departure directly with the airline or on the airline’s official website. We also recommend enrolling in airline SMS/text alerts for real-time updates.
Please note: Airlines are solely responsible for notifying passengers of any schedule changes, delays, cancellations, or rerouting. Kani Travel is not liable for any losses, missed connections, additional costs, or damages arising from changes made by the airline or failure by the airline to inform passengers in a timely manner. While Kani Travel will make every effort to notify clients if we are informed of changes, we are not responsible for airline communication failures.
25. Baggage Restrictions
Travellers must consult the airline's official website for current baggage allowances, fees, and restrictions. Carry-on and checked baggage limits vary by airline and ticket class.
Transport Canada regulations for carry-on liquids, aerosols, and gels include:
- Containers must be 100 ml or less.
- All items must fit in one clear resealable 1-litre plastic bag.
- Items over 100 ml must be in checked luggage.
Exceptions exist for baby food, essential medications, and dietary needs. Additional screening may apply.
26. Seat Selection
Seat assignments are on a first-come, first-served basis unless pre-arranged. Airlines may charge a fee for seat selection, which is non-refundable. Aircraft changes may affect seat configuration. Kani Travel is not responsible for lost or changed seat assignments.
27. Flight Restrictions
Travellers with itineraries requiring airport changes are responsible for their own transfers. Multi-segment or combined one-way ticket bookings are treated as separate reservations; changes to one leg do not entitle changes to the other without additional cost.
28. Best Price Guarantee (Prior to Booking Confirmation)
If a lower price is found on a Canadian competitor’s website for an identical vacation package (same supplier, dates, room category, etc.) before booking, Kani Travel will match it and issue a $100 CAD travel voucher. Terms:
- Proof of availability required.
- Voucher valid for one year.
- Minimum spend of $879 per person, double occupancy.
- Cannot be combined with other offers.
- One voucher per booking.
29. Legal Jurisdiction & Privacy
Kani Travel operates under the laws and regulations of Ontario, Canada. All customer information is protected according to our Privacy Policy and will not be shared without consent, except as required by law.
30. Cancellation, Changes & Refunds
Cancellations and/or changes may result in a 100% penalty. Additional fees from Kani Travel and the travel supplier may apply. If changes are allowed by the supplier, they may incur service fees as per the terms of the airline, tour operator, or cruise line. Written requests may be required for cancellations or changes. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against financial loss from unforeseen events or force majeure. No refunds will be issued for unused travel services or segments. All modifications are governed by the terms set by each respective supplier.
31. Car Rentals
Car rental terms, including minimum age, are determined by each rental company and local laws. A valid driver’s license (and possibly an international one) and a credit card in the driver’s name are usually required. Some locations may also request a deposit. Taxes, local fees, and surcharges are not included and are the traveller’s responsibility. When available, we suggest purchasing all-inclusive packages to avoid added insurance fees.
32. Children Travelling Alone
Unaccompanied Minor (UM) services must be arranged directly with the airline. Parents/guardians are responsible for confirming policies in advance. For children under 18 traveling alone or with one parent, we strongly recommend carrying a notarized authorization letter signed by the non-traveling parent(s)/guardian(s).
33. Cruises
Cruise Flights: When booking flights with the cruise line, airline and routing details may be provided only weeks before departure. Kani Travel can also arrange competitive independent flights (fees apply). Insurance is strongly advised to cover unexpected flight changes.
Cruise Departure Times: Cruises will depart on schedule. Passengers should consider arriving at the embarkation port the day prior and book return flights late enough to accommodate disembarkation and airport check-in. Missed connections are not the responsibility of Kani Travel.
Cruise Pricing & Inclusions: Cruise packages generally include round-trip flights, cabin accommodations, onboard meals, and listed amenities. Extra charges such as gratuities, excursions, drinks, and other onboard purchases are the traveller's responsibility.
Itinerary Changes: Changes to cruise routes or ships may occur due to weather, safety, or operational needs and are outside Kani Travel’s control. No compensation will be provided for these changes.
Cruise Age & Occupancy Restrictions: Some cruise lines have minimum age requirements (18–21) for the primary passenger. Prices are based on double occupancy; other configurations may incur different rates.
34. Confirmation & Document Delivery
After booking, a confirmation email will be sent. It is the traveller’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of all names, dates, and details. Discrepancies must be reported immediately.
Ticket Delivery: E-tickets and travel documents will be sent to the provided email 14 days before departure. If booked within 14 days, documents will be delivered within 72 hours. If you haven’t received your documents, please check your spam folder or contact us.
Review All Documents Carefully: Ensure that all travel documents match your passport exactly. Errors can result in denied boarding and are the customer’s responsibility.
35. Valid Travel Documentation
All travellers must carry valid passports and, where applicable, visas. Many countries require passports to be valid for 6 months beyond your return date. It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all entry and transit requirements. Kani Travel is not liable for denied entry or missed travel due to insufficient documentation.
We strongly recommend registering with the Government of Canada’s Registration of Canadians Abroad service: travel.gc.ca/registration
36. Credit Card Payment & Fraud Prevention
By authorizing payment, you agree to Kani Travel’s and the travel supplier’s Terms and Conditions. Chargebacks are not accepted as a method of dispute. If fraud is suspected, your booking may be cancelled pending verification. Some payment types (e.g., third-party cards or Visa Debit) may be restricted or subject to processing delays.
Payment Methods:
- Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, American Express (AMEX may be limited)
- E-transfer & Direct Deposit (cash only): Contact us to arrange
Merchant Fees: A 3% merchant fee applies to in-house and certain e-transfer payments, especially if suppliers require card payment.
37. Customer Service Issues
All complaints or claims must be submitted in writing within 25 days of travel completion to:
Kani Travel – Customer Support
6011 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON, M2M 2W2
or via email: nazi.sr56@gmail.com
We will forward any supplier-related issues to the appropriate party on your behalf. However, Kani Travel cannot be held liable for services not rendered by third-party suppliers.
38. Departure Taxes
Some destinations require a departure tax to be paid locally, often in the local currency. For details, visit travel.gc.ca.
39. Hotels
Hotel check-in is usually at 3:00 PM; check-out may be as early as 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is at the hotel’s discretion and may incur fees. A credit card or cash deposit may be required upon check-in.
Even at all-inclusive properties, surcharges may apply for premium items or services. These are the traveller’s responsibility.
40. Early Booking Bonuses
To secure early booking promotional pricing, full payment may be required earlier than standard deadlines. Failure to pay by the specified date may result in regular rates applying. Kani Travel will advise of any such deadlines at the time of booking.
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the relationship between you ("Client", "You") and Kani Travel Inc. ("Kani Travel", "We", "Us", or "Our") in respect to all travel-related products and services provided or booked through Kani Travel. 43. Cancellation, Changes & Refunds
All cancellations and change requests must be received in writing. Refunds, if applicable, are subject to supplier policies and applicable administrative fees. Many fares and services are non-refundable or non-changeable. Kani Travel is not responsible for any costs incurred due to denial of changes or refunds by third-party suppliers.
44. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be mandatory for some services. Kani Travel is not responsible for losses due to your failure to obtain adequate coverage. We offer insurance products from third-party providers but assume no liability for coverage decisions or policy limitations.
45. Travel Documentation
You are solely responsible for obtaining all required travel documents (passports, visas, entry permits, vaccinations, etc.). Kani Travel accepts no responsibility for denied boarding or entry resulting from incomplete or incorrect documentation.
46. Prices and Currency
All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD), unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice due to factors including but not limited to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, tax changes, and supplier-imposed increases. Kani Travel will notify you of changes before final payment.
47. Service Descriptions
We strive for accuracy in service descriptions, but details are subject to change. Photos and features of accommodations, amenities, and transport are provided by suppliers and may not reflect the current conditions. Kani Travel is not liable for discrepancies.

Seat selection is not guaranteed unless specifically paid for and confirmed. Baggage policies are determined by individual carriers. It is your responsibility to review applicable restrictions and fees prior to travel.

51. Travelers with Special Needs
Travelers with medical conditions, mobility issues, or special needs must inform Kani Travel prior to booking. Some destinations and services may not be fully accessible. Kani Travel disclaims any liability for issues arising due to the lack of accessibility.

53. Health and Vaccinations
You are responsible for checking health requirements and obtaining necessary vaccinations or medical clearances. Kani Travel is not liable for trip disruption or denial of entry due to health or vaccination issues.
54. Local Laws and Conduct
Travelers must comply with all applicable local laws and customs. Misconduct or illegal behavior may result in removal from tours or denial of services without refund. Kani Travel is not responsible for consequences arising from violations.
55. Check-In, Departure & Airport Procedures
You are responsible for verifying all travel times and check-in requirements. Arrive at the airport at least three (3) hours before international flights. Kani Travel is not liable for missed flights due to late arrival or changes not communicated by the airline.
56. Flight Restrictions
Air tickets are non-transferable. Name changes are not permitted. Many fares are non-refundable and may carry penalties for changes. You are responsible for reviewing fare rules prior to purchase.
57. Car Rentals
Car rentals are governed by supplier terms and local laws. Drivers must present valid licenses and credit cards. Kani Travel is not liable for denied rentals or additional costs incurred due to supplier requirements.
58. Cruise Bookings
Cruise terms vary by supplier. Full payment deadlines, documentation requirements, and cancellation rules may differ from standard travel bookings. You are responsible for arriving at the port on time and complying with cruise line requirements.
59. Third-Party Suppliers
Kani Travel acts solely as a booking agent for independent suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators, etc.). We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the acts, omissions, or negligence of such suppliers. In the event of supplier failure, recourse must be made directly to the supplier, unless otherwise required by law.
60. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kani Travel shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, accident, or irregularity arising from acts or omissions of third-party providers or events beyond our control. Liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid to Kani Travel for the service in question.

Travel documents will be delivered electronically unless otherwise requested. It is your responsibility to check your email, including spam/junk folders. Kani Travel is not liable for missed departures due to undelivered or overlooked documents.

By confirming a booking through Kani Travel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
66. Payment Methods and Terms for Online Bookings
Full payment is due for online bookings made within 52 days of departure. Bookings outside of 52 days may be permitted to apply a deposit based on the third-party supplier’s terms and conditions.
Online purchases can be made using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit cards. In some cases, American Express may not be available as a payment option. International credit cards will not be accepted.
Kani Travel accepts e-transfers and direct deposits (cash only) — please call our sales line to make your reservation.
Visa Debit may be accepted. When using a Visa Debit or bank debit (Interac) card for payment, please note that in the event of a cancellation, funds may be held for up to 60 days by your financial institution. Kani Travel strongly recommends an alternative form of payment, such as a major credit card, to avoid potential delays and inconvenience.
The credit card holder and/or payer (if payment is in cash) or the “customer” on the booking is the individual with whom Kani Travel has the contract/agreement to provide travel services — and this is the party to whom Kani Travel holds any contractual liability.
Third-party credit card transactions within 21 days of departure may not be confirmed at the time of reservation. The booking will only be confirmed and payment processed once verification is complete. Manual verification will be attempted. Rates and availability are subject to change during this verification process.
Please note that the billing address and telephone number provided during the transaction must match the details associated with the credit card. If Kani Travel is unable to verify this information, the booking may be cancelled with or without prior notice.
Pending reservations are subject to availability and price changes until confirmed and paid in full.
In-house charges will be subject to a 3% merchant fee.
Kani Travel may require cash payment for certain destinations.
Payment may also be made via fund transfer (direct deposit) into the Kani Travel business account, or via eTransfer. Once the transaction is verified, Kani Travel will confirm the booking. A copy of the bank receipt may be requested by email or fax. Please inquire for further instructions.
If payment is made by eTransfer and the supplier requires credit card payment, a 3% merchant fee will be added to your total travel cost.
